Service Fees


60-minute Individual or Family Sessions

75 or 90 minute Individual or Family Sessions

A longer session is sometimes warranted for complex family dynamics or Individual EMDR or IFS sessions to allow enough time to complete the process. If this is recommended the fee is prorated based on your clinician’s hourly rate.


Out of Network Provider for Insurance

Marin Family Recovery is an “Out of Network” provider for all PPO insurance plans. In some cases, services may be reimbursed in part by your health insurance plan if you have out of network behavioral health coverage. Marin Family Recovery provides you with a ‘superbill’ that you submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement after paying in full at the time of service. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance representative the following questions:

  • Do I have out of network behavioral health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible for telehealth sessions, and has my deductible been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health benefit cover?
  • What is the covered amount per teletherapy session (billing codes90791 GT, 90837 GT, 90847 GT) for “out of network providers?”
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician or preauthorization needed?

Since the ACA went into effect in 2014, all insurance providers must offer some form of psychotherapy benefit related to substance abuse treatment and or trauma treatment. Please check your policy to learn if you have these benefits included in “out of network providers” with your plan.


Payment Options

A Credit or Debit card is required to be on file for all clients and is the preferred payment option. Arrangements can be made for wire transfer apps, such as Zelle, for time of service payment in addition to having a card on file to reserve your appointment time.

Cancellation Policy

Your scheduled appointment time is your reserved time. If you are unable to make your appointment time, others on the waiting list would be happy to fill it. Please give Marin Family Recovery at least 24 hours notice of any cancellation to avoid being charged the full appointment fee.
